Review:
Marriott's Streamside at Vail is perfectly situated, just a couple minutes by (free) shuttle from the slopes;
which run every ten minutes in the mornings and evenings, and are available any time just by calling the resort.
The skiing in Vail is incomparable in the country. Ever since the back bowls opened, the stretch of runs of all
levels and the quality and quantity of the snow and grooming (or not) is insane.
Being a couple minutes away, instead of right in the middle of the crowded craziness directly at the base of the runs,
it is much more relaxing. You can enjoy the crowds, bars, restaurants, etc. But you also have the option of
getting away, lazing in the jacuzzi, swimming, going to the fitness center, borrow a DVD for your room, etc.
We have also visited in late Spring, and the middle of summer, and the Vail Valley is always beyond gorgeous.
