Arizona Timeshares

Looking for Fun and Sun, then you need to stay in an Arizona timeshare for vacation to start. From Flagstaff to Phoenix, Sedona to Scottsdale, you’ll find Arizona timeshare resales and rentals that make it easy for you to explore all this great state has to offer.

Many Arizona timeshare resorts are ideal destinations where you could easily plan a luxurious, relaxing getaway and never leave the property, enjoying pools, golf, tennis, dining, and pampering spa services. However, there is so much to see and do across the state that you’ll also find Arizona timeshare resales to be your perfect answer for planning day trips and adventure excursions.

Planning Your Arizona Timeshare Vacation

Start with one of Arizona’s grandest features—the Grand Canyon National Park, an amazing natural wonder you’ll likely want to visit many times. You can plan white water rafting on the wild Colorado River, hiking, air tours, “around-the-rim” guided tours, or simply take in the grandeur of the view and linger to watch an unforgettable sunset. Flagstaff timeshares and Sedona timeshares make a great home base for exploring the Grand Canyon during your holiday.

Anthropologists trace Native American life in what is now the state of Arizona back as far as 12,000 years. With nearly two dozen American Indian tribal reservations in Arizona, you may enjoy visiting areas open to the public. The Northern Arizona Native American Cultural Trail offers vacationers a scenic way to explore the history, arts, crafts, and culture of some of Arizona’s native tribes.

Arizona Timeshare Vacation Travel Tips

Whether you are renting timeshare or you are a vacation owner, here are some travel tips that will make your Arizona vacation safer and easier to enjoy.

Timely Travel Tips for Arizona Timeshare Vacations:

  • Whether it’s a winter getaway or summer holiday, pack your sunscreen and apply it often.
  • Take precautions for enjoying your time in the warm sunshine, drinking lots of fluids and adding a sun-protective hat to your wardrobe.
  • If you will be hiking, allow extra time to stop and rest. Even experienced hikers are sometimes challenged by the sun, or at the Grand Canyon, by the inner canyon heat effect.
  • If you are touring one of Arizona’s 22 Native American Reservations, remember that each one is unique, operating under its own laws and government. Tribal laws may differ from Arizona state law and from one tribal land to another.
  • Be very respectful on tribal lands. Ask permission before you take photos, make sketches, or shoot video.
  • If you are observing ceremonial dances, or other Native American events, do not attempt to interact with those who are participating in the event. Also, do not take artifacts or mementos from the area, applaud during events, touch musical instruments, or pick up any item that may be dropped by a dancer or other participant. Understand that at some events, such as Hopi dances, men and women—even as observers—are required to sit in separate areas.
  • Do not take alcohol onto tribal lands. Alcoholic beverages are typically sold at casinos located on tribal land.
  • Desert weather can be unpredictable. Dust storms, flash flooding, unusual daytime heat, and nighttime chills are all possible. In the mountainous areas of northern and north central Arizona, even summer nights average a brisk 40 to 50 degrees (F) in temperature.
  • Generally, January through March is the busiest tourist season in southern Arizona. In Sedona, March through May and September through December are the most popular months for vacationing. Timeshare peak seasons will vary by resort and location; make sure you check the resort where you will be visiting to know what months are considered high-demand at that locale.

Modern and Vibrant, Arizona is More than its Vast Desert and Rich History

Boating, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and jeep tours through the desert landscape are only a few of the ways to enjoy your Arizona vacation time. Arizona is home to many art galleries, museums, and concert halls. The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, the Phoenix Art Museum, the Tucson Museum of Art, the Mesa Arts Center, the Arizona Historical Society Museum in Tucson, and the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff are all excellent places for looking to the arts, culture, and even to the stars to learn more about this intriguing state.

Sports fans will appreciate the fact that the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, the NBA’s Suns, the National Hockey League’s Coyotes and Major League Baseball’s Arizona Diamondbacks all call Arizona home, along with MLB’s Cactus League spring training schedule and the World Golf Championships Accenture Match Play tournament, which is held each year in Tucson.

Golfers recognize that Arizona offers some of the greatest golf courses in the U.S., including Troon North Pinnacle and Monument Courses in Scottsdale, the TPC Scottsdale, Ventana Canyon Mountain course in Tucson, and Marriott’s Wildfire Course in Phoenix. All of these are public golf courses, making it easy for you to schedule tee times during your Arizona timeshare vacation.
