Norway Timeshare

With a Norway timeshare, you can experience summer sunlight that seems to last forever and the gorgeous northern lights in the winter. Winters are bitterly cold and bring such low temperatures that you may still shake when dressed in several layers. The Northern Lights first appear in the sky in October and those lights become even more brilliant and beautiful in December and through the end of February. You might want to book timeshare accommodation during one of those months to see the Northern Lights and some of the country's best attractions.

Festivals in Norway

One of the best times to visit Norway is near the end of November for the Festival of Lights. Thousands of people wander through the streets to talk with locals and tourists alike about the experience of the gorgeous lights. Oslo Sleazefest takes place on the same weekend and lets you hear some of the best metal artists in the world perform live. The Ice Music Festival in February is a fun time to look at the amazing ice sculptures that artists build. Other popular festivals include the Gladmet Food Festival and Riddu Riddu Festival.

Outdoor Attractions

Seeing the Northern Lights is far from the only thing you can do in Norway. Outdoor lovers can travel via the Bergen funicular and reach the top of one of the largest mountains in the country. The North Cape is home to long days where you can still enjoy bright summer sunshine at midnight. To see Norway differently at night, you can book one of the boat trips of the North Cape. You won't want to miss a trip to Jostedalsbreen either, which is a glacier that you can walk across. The glacier is inside the national park of the same name where you can take the Glacier bus to the formation and then do some mountain kayaking.

Other Things to Do

The Polar Museum is one of the best museums in Norway and one that lets you see why so many people enjoy the country. Not far away is the Tromso Arctic and Alpine Botanical Garden, which is home to many unique plants. Some of the other places you may want to explore after settling into your Norway timeshare include the Lofoten War Museum, Norwegian Fishing Village Museum and Museum of Cultural History.
