Scotland Timeshares

Scotland timeshares offer you the chance to experience the variety of natural, historical, and cultural wonders of Scotland over and over again. Whether you have your heart set on following Robert Burn's trail of poetry, seeing the battlefields of Scottish national heroes, or looking for the Loch Ness Monster, these timeshares will bring you to the very best that Scotland has to offer.

Each region of Scotland offers something slightly different. In the main cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, you'll find urban centers of shopping, dining, and entertainment right alongside historic sites and tourist attractions. The Northern Highlands, on the other hand, is a destination beloved of hikers, boaters, and photographers. The Isle of Skye and the Inner Hebrides are a chain of islands off the coast of Scotland, accessible by ferry, and filled with wildlife, ancient forests, and also home to the first Christian sites in Scotland.

a popular day trip from Glasgow, especially for boaters and anglers, as well as hikers who can take trips up Ben Lomand and through the Trossachs National Park. And while you are touring the Lochs of Scotland, Loch Ness is another key stopping point even if you do not catch a glimpse of the elusive Nessie because you can take a canal tour by boat, visit the Loch Ness Exhibition museum, and see Urquhart Castle. For a more leisurely way to see the Scottish countryside, you may consider playing golf at one of the many famed golf courses where the game originated.

Historical Sites

If you are wanting to dig deeper into Scottish history while visiting your Scotland timeshare, the castles are a great place to begin. Stirling Castle's 16th-century costumed tour guides will take you through Queen Mary's childhood home and tell the stories of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce's victories near there. Scone Palace in Perth is the historic coronation grounds of the Scottish kings, and while it was rebuilt in the 19th century as a Georgian Mansion, you'll still enjoy the opulent luxury and beauty of its many rooms. Edinburgh Castle holds the actual Stone of Destiny, long-held at Scone before being taken by the British in 1296, and this castle is a popular draw for visitors to Edinburgh.

For nightlife in Scotland, you'll find that most towns have places to eat and drink in the evening hours, especially in tourist areas during the season. Year-round, you'll find everything from theaters to trendy nightclubs in places such as Glasgow and Edinburgh. And if you are planning a family trip, many of the top attractions can be of interest to people of any age.

Best Time to Visit

The summer months bring the most visitors to Scotland timeshares, so expect to see plenty of people visiting the biggest attractions and sites during these months. The autumn is slightly less crowded and still beautiful and is the shoulder season in Scotland. Tourism is at its lowest in the winter when temperatures, especially in the northern Highlands, become too cold for most outdoor activities and is low to moderate in the spring.
