visitors of all ages. Several festivals are arranged each year in this beach district, and most of the resorts have their own nightlife activities including theater, comedy, and dance.

The coast is an amazing place to explore. The famous Water Blow site is part of a rocky shoreline where the high surf crashes into the jagged rocks. The waves are funneled into narrow crevices, and the spray shoots more than 30 meters into the air. Pandawa Beach is the most famous of the region's beach locations, and this is the place to go if windsailing or surfing is on the menu.

Amazing Cultural Destinations

The Pura Geger Temple is not to be missed. Located on a cliff overlooking Geger Beach, the temple is outlined with towering shrines, and although access is restricted for most of the year, the public is invited to explore it in detail during special ceremonials.

The Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a cultural park located about 12 miles west of the main beach area. The main attraction is a giant statue depicting the Hindu god Vishnu. The statue sits atop a giant pedestal and rises nearly 50 meters above the ground. Cultural exhibitions are ongoing throughout the year.

The Bali National Golf Club is world-renowned. Located near the Bali Tourism Development Complex, the club contains an 18-hole course, the Leadbetter Golf Academy, and a huge pro shop. The course is open to the public, but tee times are difficult to secure unless the visitor has a vacation package that includes temporary membership.
