North Redington Beach Timeshare

The Tampa-St. Pete area is a magnetic draw for visitors. The warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the numerous white sand beaches, the fine restaurants, and mild weather year-round make this a popular vacation destination for families, couples, and newlyweds. The strip of barrier islands that parallel the coast in Pinellas County contains North Redington Beach - the quietest of the communities in terms of beach crowds and perfect for a North Redington Beach timeshare vacation.

The beach is lined with resorts, condos, restaurants, and gift shops. The surf is generally moderate, and winter rainfall is actually quite scarce. Visitors can buy a North Redington Beach timeshare on the resale market here at BuyaTimeshare.com, with both rental and vacation ownership available with lots of member perks.

The Beach Scene

North Redington Beach was originally an acreage purchase along the barrier island in the 1930s and it now has only about 1,600 permanent residents. The bigger resort complexes have sprung up over the past three decades, and most of these are located right on the beachfront.

The famous Tides Hotel and Bath Club, once frequented by Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe, was bulldozed and replaced in 2000 by the Tides Beach condos. Gulf Boulevard is lined with hotels and smaller resort complexes, many of which offer studio, one- and two-bedroom, and family-sized suites.

Surfing, sailboarding, and beach volleyball are the favorite activities here. Rental outfitters can supply visitors with scuba or snorkeling gear. Alcohol is not allowed on the beach, but visitors can bring their bikes and cycle along the boulevard and adjacent streets and walkways. Several bike paths connect the barrier island to the mainland.

Visitors should keep in mind that not all of the beachfront is public. Some of the resorts own the rights to the beachfront, but there are plenty of signs that designate out-of-bounds areas for strolling visitors.

Several fine restaurants are located along the beachfront as well. These include the Conch Republic Grill, Red's Bar on the Boulevard, and Sporty's on the Beach. Gift shops and boutiques are also plentiful.

Where to Stay

Check our North Redington Beach timeshare marketplace for the latest info. The resorts offer timeshare stays in a fully furnished suite with ocean view, on-site dining, outdoor pools, and more. Timeshare owners can even exchange their stay at other locations through an exchange service or rent their unit to non-members.

Visit North Redington Beach at any time of year. Enjoy sun and surf, fine dining, and the best shopping on Florida's Gulf Coast.
