Conroe Timeshare

Though you may have heard the slogan, “Everything is Bigger in Texas,” Conroe proves that you don't need to stay in a big city to have fun. From outdoor activities to some of the best craft beer around, Conroe offers something for you, your friends and your kids. Just an hour north of Houston, you can plan the perfect trip for your wedding, have an amazing honeymoon, travel with friends, experience a romantic getaway or have tons of fun with your children. When you search for a Conroe timeshare, check out the area and all the great things you can do.

When to Visit Conroe

The best time to visit a Conroe timeshare is usually around one of the city's big festivals. If you love Cajun food and have a craving for catfish, plan your trip near the beginning of October. This is when the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival takes place, which lets you enjoy some of the best blackened catfish around. The area holds the Montgomery County Fair every year in March. This fair features fun rides and attractions as well as live music and entertainment. When you visit Conroe in May, you won't want to miss the annual Renaissance Fair, which is one of the largest in the nation.

Parks and Recreation

Another good reason to buy a Conroe timeshare is because of the lake and parks in the area. Lake Conroe is the main attraction, and this 22,000 acre lake is a vast playground for all of your watersports needs. Candy Cane Park is home to the Heritage Museum of Montgomery County, which has artifacts on display from some of the earliest residents of and settlers to the area. Over at the central branch of the library, you'll find the Lone Star Monument. This pays homage to the Lone Star State and is close to Historical Flag Park. Conroe is also home to Montgomery County War Memorial Park.

Other Places to Explore

One of the best places to take kids in Conroe is 7 Acre Park. It boasts a petting zoo where you can both pet and feed animals such as goats and donkeys, a rope slide, horseshoe pits and other activities. Lake Conroe Park covers more than 10 acres and is home to one of the region's largest lakes. There is also the 100+ mile Lone Star Hiking Trail in Sam Houston National Forest. Instead of visiting crowded and busy parts of Texas, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of small town life in a Conroe timeshare.
