Duck Timeshares For Sale

Duck is a small town in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and a quaint, beautiful part of the region. The top reason visitors buy Duck timeshares is for the outdoor attractions. Duck Town Park is a facility owned and maintained by the town. It has an amphitheater that hosts live shows every year and a playground with jungle gyms and other equipment. The park also has a public launch where you can take kayaks and other small boats on the water as well as a picnic shelter. You can get to the park via a boardwalk located in the town, which runs for nearly 0.8 miles towards Currituck Sound.

Though you may want to visit in October for the Jazz Festival, you'll find other events scheduled, including Yoga on the Green and Movies on the Sound. Local bait shops and fishing charter companies can help you pick a fishing spot and schedule a charter tour for your group. The Duck Woods Country Club is the best place to go if you love golfing. You should also hit Duck Beach, which ranks as one of the nation's best beaches for families.

Indoor Fun

You'll probably look for Duck timeshares because you love kayaking, swimming, boating and other outdoor activities, but you shouldn't forget about some of the fun things you can do inside too. Scarborough Faire Shopping Village and the Waterfront Shoppes are the best places to shop, but the Outer Banks Surf Shop is the ultimate place to shop for outdoor gear. With Duck timeshares, you can also stay close to some great restaurants, including Dockside 'n Duck, Coastal Cravings and Paper Canoe.

When to Visit Duck

Summer is obviously the top time to visit Duck as the beaches, attractions and crowds are in full swing. However, an out of the box time to visit is in the early spring from March to May and then in the late fall from September to November. You'll find temperatures warm enough that you can walk on the beach without running into large crowds. The temperatures during these seasons can climb into the low 80s, while winter will bring temperatures as low as the 40s. Most of the top tourist attractions are still open, making it easy for you to tour a lighthouse or head to the beach as some of the best Duck timeshares are close to those attractions.
