Roundhouse Resort is located in Pinetop, Arizona. It is about 6,000 feet higher than Phoenix, AZ, located in pine forests and about 15- 20 degrees cooler than desert area of Phoenix AZ. Sunrise ski resort is about 25 miles from the resort, offers 60 trails and vertical drops of 1,800 feet. The time share Prime times are during winter for skiing and during summer to escape heat in a rustic setting. The area of Northern Arizona is known for its beautiful scenery and historic sites like the Grand Canyon National Park, Petrified Forest National Park, Meteor Crater, the Painted Desert, historic military forts all a few hours drive away. The area surrounding Pinetop is the Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona's White Mountains, a quiet, relaxed setting for this rustic resort.
