Island's End is a semi-private course located in the heart of Wine Country on the North Fork of Long Island. The 6,700 yard course is on Route 25 in Greenport. The signature par 3 16th hole is on a bluff overlooking Long Island Sound. From this vista, you'll see Connecticut and the rocky coastline of Long Island. The hole itself is a challenging 185 yards. At times you may battle challenging sea breezes hitting to a rolling right to left green. The 16th has been named among the top 18 holes on Long Island. The four-star rated course is replete with small moguls, bunkers, doglegs and trees and foliage that announces the seasons in colorful splendor. The course is a challenge for any player, and its greens, we are often told, are among the finest on Long Island. Although semi-private, the course hosts mostly public players. Tee times can be reserved up to seven days in advance and walk on play for singles or doubles is often available. Small groups and outings are always welcome. The course features a driving range, four tee boxes on each hole, showers, a lounge, restaurant, and catering.
