The Princess is right on the beach-Turtle Bay to be exact. The corner unit give you an L shaped lanaii. You can watch the turtles feeding in the early morning. The unit is completely furnished with TV, sound system, even a TV in the bedroom. All furnishings are upgraded in a timely manner. The pictures in the ad do not do justice to the decor as it is now. The Princess is located north and west from the Honolulu Airport. Koolino has a wonderful Mexican restaurant, some shops and the Disney resort. The pool and hot tub are located at the south end of the building. Beach tiwels are provided(less to pack). The only reason these two units are available is because I'm getting a little to old to travel. I have owned a unit or two since the early "80's".
There are so many things to do on this Island or you can just do nothing and enjoy the ocean breeze. You can get all the attractions at the airport and that includes all the wonderful discounts. One thing I will never forget is flying in a glider plane. Once the cord was disconnected from the plane, we just flew without an engine. The polite was awesome and made us feel safe. It was so quite up in the air over the mountains and the view is so breathtaking. There just isn’t enough room on this page to tell you about all the fantastic things to do there. What I love about the condo is the kitchen in equipped with everything you need for eating and cooking. Plus the full size washer and dryer is located right next to the closet. Each bedroom has there own private full size bathroom with marble floors. You haven’t lived till you go to Oahu Hawaii.
October was the best time to be there for us. It was before the Rainey season. Every day it was around 80 degrees and 70’s early in the morning. We sat on the Lanier every morning to watch the beautiful sunrise and we can see Hugh turtles swimming and dolphins way out on the ocean. Four of us stayed in the condo in two full bedrooms with two complete bathrooms in each bedroom. During the day we would drive all around the Island to all the famous sites such as Peal Harbor and Paradise Cove! This island has the most activities than any other Hawaii Island. The coming back to relax at the Princess was a blessing. So quiet and seeing the Hugh moon shining down on the ocean was very special for me. We went shopping at the local grocery store with the natives. You wont regret staying at the gated private Hawaiian Princess. I will find some pictures to post.
