The Allentown Municipal Golf Course located at 3400 Tilghman Street, opened in 1952, is a 18 hole Championship golf course with greens to challenge even the serious golfer. The course underwent reconstruction in 1998 which included new greens with sculptured bunkers and two ponds. New tees were also built to provide better playing conditions. Fairway irrigation was installed in 2000. A.M.G.C. is coming off its best year ever and is a must play, you will not be disappointed. The course features a lighted driving range and a short game practice area with two additional practice putting greens. The course is not only challanging--it's fun. The New ProShop features the Callaway, Taylor Made, Mizuno, Nike, Srixon and Titleist golf products. Recent improvements to the facility include total renovations to the bathrooms with showers. New carpet and paint for the clubhouse. Parking lot renovations to add 60 more spaces.
