Rolling Green is a par 72 layout with tree-lined fairways and large greens. The course is known throughout Sarasota for its collection of challenging par 3 holes. Rolling Green offers four sets of tees. The course plays to nearly 6,500 yards from the back tees with the forward tees playing about 5,000 yards. Playing Heritage Oaks private 18 hole championship course is truly enjoyable for everyone. This women-friendly course was redesigned in 2006 by internationally known architect, Ron Garl, to give all levels of players a positive experience. Several new tees were added or redesigned and all the greens were rebuilt to provide consistently good putting surfaces. And while playing golf, you get a spectacular look at our wildlife and nature preserves.
This Gulf Gate scenic golf course offers 27 holes with a total yardage on the 18 hole course of 2,311. There is an eighteen hole short course and a nine hole executive course. The Red Course is a links-style course that winds its way through house-lined fairways. Water hazards come into play on several holes, requiring accurate shots. The Blue Course (the executive course) also requires accurate shot placements and is just as much fun to play.

This 9-hole, par 30 executive course is 1,716 yards long and consists of three par 4's and six par 3's. This little gem is popular with the very young, the very old and the very new golfer as well as folks who want to sharpen their short game skills or have only a limited amount of time to spend on their round. There are two tee stations at each hole and the small elevated oval greens make accuracy a priority. A large ravine bisects the course and serves to protect several of the green approaches. Small ponds and a variety of oaks and palms make this 35 acre tract a terrific little golf course.

The facility sits on 325 contiguous acres of virgin meadowland adjacent to State Road 780, Fruitville Road, the gateway to downtown Sarasota and its world famous beaches.
The original 18 holes were designed in 1926 by the famed course architect Donald Ross. Nine additional holes were constructed in 1952 and another nine were added in 1967. The John H. Gillespie Executive Course was completed in 1977.
