Ghost Mountain Ranch was designed by Paramount Studios and was the on-location site for filming of the popular 60s TV show "The Virginian". The cabins are furnished with all the necessities including double or single beds, living room furniture, and a kitchenette. The campsites have private water supplies, and there are convenient dump stations throughout the property.

Ghost Mountain Ranch has a large clubhouse with Wi-Fi access, several huge outdoor swimming pools, and a stocked fishing pond. There's a kids club with regularly scheduled activities, a laundry room, and an Old West town with lots of shops including an ice cream parlor, saloon, and grocery store.
