Cochise Terrace RV Park

Benson, Arizona

Roughly forty-five miles east, southeast of Tucson is the recreational vehicle and trailer campground, Cochise Terrace RV Park.

Located in Benson, Arizona, this campground and RV park lies north of the Coronado National Forest and in the edge of the Dragoon Mountains. Widely known as the Land of Legends, Cochise County and the surrounding area were once home to historic figures including Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, and Apache tribesmen, Geronimo and Cochise. The area is so rich in history, you can even follow the trail of the Spanish conquistador Coronado, who crossed into Arizona on his quest for the Seven Cities of Gold.

Fun and Sun at Cochise Terrace RV Park

One of the many reasons vacation owners appreciate the Cochise Terrace Recreational Vehicle Park is that the RV park management and the Homeowners Association (HOA) pride themselves on friendliness and fun. Regularly scheduled events at the park include bingo nights, potluck dinners, hiking excursions to local historic sites and cultural landmarks, line dancing events, a Jeep club, and exercise classes.

The property also includes amenities to make your stay a little nicer, such as the Crow’s Nest Clubhouse, where you’ll find an activity room, reading material, restrooms, hot showers, and laundry facilities.

Cochise Terrace Recreational Vehicle Park

The Cochise Terrace RV Park has spacious campsites suitable for trailers, 5th wheel, recreational vehicles (RVs), and motorhomes. Every campsite has water and sewer hook ups and cable television service and most are positioned for serene desert views. Sites are available with 20, 30, and 50 AMP hookups.

Although you can rent your campsite at the Cochise Terrace on a nightly, weekly, or monthly basis, why would you, when the price is so much more affordable if you buy campground membership on the resale marketplace?

Options that may be available as resales include annual rate memberships (electrical will be extra) or a special 7-5 rate that is designed with snowbirds in mind and allows for seven months of use and five months of annual storage.

Note: Tent camping is currently not permitted at this resort and pop-up campers are limited to May through September, which is considered to be off-season at Cochise Terrace RV Park.
