Come see why the combination of a great course design (ranked "Third Best New Resort Course" by Golf Digest when it opened in 1988), excellent playing conditions, and low rates has given us the nickname by locals as the "hidden jewel" of Gaylord. The golf course is a favorite challenge for guests vacationing in northern Michigan, as well as for local Gaylord golfers. In fact after playing our course many groups have cancelled tee times at other courses to play Mountain Lakes again that weekend. It offers six holes played through pine forest, another six on alpine terrain with stunning vistas, and six holes are set amid the natural beauty of a river, ponds, and lakes.
