    Review:
This resort is great for families and pets. They have every kind of amenity you can think of, from hiking to mini golf! Lots of craft projects in the rec center as well. Upon check in we received a weekly schedule of dates and times different things were offered. Staff was very helpful in answering phone calls and questions. We paid a small fee for the dog, but had no issues! Way cheaper than a kennel, and never mind the separation anxiety for pets and humans! I give this resort a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Only draw back was parking only for 1 car outside of the unit. guests had to park across the street.

    Review:
Staying at the Oak 'n Spruce Resort provides access to one of the most beautiful areas in the country. Rolling hills, farms, orchards, state forests, lakes and rivers all abound and offer great outdoor recreation. But one of the best reasons to visit the Berkshires is the endless number of cultural offerings which are all within a short distance from the resort. Five theaters in Berkshire County and many more in surrounding areas offer world class theater. Some shows have gone from a stage in the Berkshires directly to Broadway where they've been nominated for Tony Awards (and even won on occasion). Jacobs Pillow offers eight weeks of unparalleled dance, both traditional and modern. And, of course, the resort is only 5 minutes from Tangle wood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra where you can listen to the most amazing performances under the stars. The number of museums is also surprising: The Norman Rockwell Museum, Chesterwood, the Clark Art Institute (known as the Jewel in the Crown of the Berkshires), the Berkshire Museum where children of all ages can be fascinated and MassMOCA - the home of amazing contemporary art, both large and small. Art galleries show a wide variety of paintings, sculptures, hand crafts and wearable art. And I could go on about the wonderful shopping, from boutiques to outlets, and the many fabulous restaurants which surround the resort. There is no end to the number of things to do and places of interest to see, both night and day. And the Oak 'n Spruce is in the middle of it all.
