What I liked about the Resort:
Probably my three favorite resorts with MROP was the unit in West Maui, Punta Gorda, Florida, and the condo on a Lake in Branson, Missouri. (The resort in Puerto Vallarta and Myrtle Beach are top on my list also!) The resort on Maui in Lahaina is right on a beautiful beach. My husband's and my favorite thing to do was watching the sunset and sunrise over the ocean from our balcony or right on the beach. There is SO much to do in Lahaina, but unlike the condo in Honolulu it is slower paced and very relaxing. The condo in Punta Gorda, Florida is on the second floor. Underneath are little shops and wonderful restaurants - but what really makes it special is that it is all built out over the ocean!! The unit in Branson is about 5 minutes outside of Branson on a beautiful lake. We visited Nauvoo, Illinois than drove down to Branson for another week. It was wonderful. We live in Utah and I also loved that there were several condos within 1 to 4 hour driving time either in Salt Lake City, Park City, or St. George. They are all beautiful units. We also have the Playa del Sol timeshare and it was nice because we like to take two week vacations and we could arrange to stay in the MROP condo one week and then in the Playa condo the next. These especially worked well in Maui as they were less than 5 min apart, both on the beach! We loved our timeshares and enjoyed many years of great vacations. My husband passed away in 2011 and I am just not able to travel anymore or I would never try to sell them!
What are the best attractions and/or restaurants:
Because these timeshare units are all over the world, it would be hard to describe all of them, but snorkeling and kite flying over the ocean in Maui are favorites as well as barbequing on an island and a LONG zipline off a small mountain in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and deep sea fishing and bicycling in Punta Gorda, Florida. The food in all the locations we visited was amazing. When we were on a budget, we could always find a grocery store or inexpensive food if needed.
My husband and I usually traveled as a couple and have so many wonderful memories with these timeshares, but we also took our family to Maui and many times to the St.George Utah timeshares. Taking the family to Maui was a once in a lifetime experience that I will treasure forever. But, we have taken kids and grandkids to the St. George Utah timeshare condo many times and we LOVE the pool and pool house amenities, plus there is so much to do in St. George. You are minutes away from Zion National Park, tubing down the Virgin River, movies and restaurants in St. George as well as hiking to your hearts delight. Whether you are looking for a time share as a couple or as a family, MROP fits the bill. They are worth much more, but as a widow, I need to sell them and I am selling them far below what they are worth.
