Island Seas Resort Reviews

Review:
In 2017, my husband and I exchanged this time share with Island Seas Resort in Freeport, Bahamas. We had an incredible ocean front condo, with an incredible view, and right on the beach. We spent a couple of wonderful weeks of relaxation and great food, swimming, horse back riding, special tours of the Island and ocean sunset dinners on great private touring boats! The staff was overwhelmingly courteous, polite, friendly, and accommodating. Great use of an exchange.

Review:
I purchased my time-share property on Grand Bahamas Island, Freeport. Great Fishing and Free Diving right off the resort beach. Me and my son's would typically wait until October, (my B-Day month), as this was also the opening of Lobster season!
Snorkeling / Free Diving without tanks was all the gear we needed to bring in dozens of Lobster!
I can't say how legal it was, but nobody ever bothered us!
Over the course of 15 years, I never flew into Freeport... We always took the Fairy or now the Bularia Express. Big old Catamaran that will get you there in 2 hours! Very economical. Last time I floated over, I think a First Class seat was about $30.00... The boat leaves pretty early out of Fort Lauderdale, FL
When I lived in South Carolina, this was about a 5 hour drive to the dock, jump on the boat and party and Dive for the next week.
When I relocated to Louisiana, the road trip took about 13 hours. And now that I'm working out of West Texas, it's a two day drive!! Freeport just isn't as convenient as it use to be; and that's why I'm putting it up for sale!
The Employees there seem to stay for a very long time! They recognize me and the kids each season. It's really a family oriented resort, it's well maintained and they always make us feel welcome!
