Silent Valley is located in a mountain valley at an altitude of 3500 feet, 95 miles east of Los Angeles, in the San Jacinto Mountains between Banning and Idyllwild. There are 850 campsites on approximately 640 acres (240 acres preserved as open parks and hiking trails).
Facilities: Fishing Pond, Tennis Courts, Shuffleboard, Multi-Purpose Rooms, Basketball, Horseshoe, Saunas, Swimming Pools, Volleyball, Miniature Golf, Wading Pool, Jacuzzi, Chapel. The Village Center consists of a Restaurant, Bar-Lounge, General Store (including liquor, food, and non-food items), Laundromat, two general purpose rooms for activities, and propane sales. Silent Valley has varied activities and events during the season.
