DUPONT, Washington - The Home Course in DuPont, Wash. has been selected by the United States Golf Association as the assisting course for the 2010 U.S. Amateur Championship. The Home Course will assist the primary course, Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash., in conducting America's national amateur championship.
Much like its sister course, golfers will find The Links to be a fitting name for this Scottish-style links course, which features expansive fairways, rolling greens, beautiful views of Mt. Rainier and five sets of tees for golfers of all playing abilities. The Woodlands was the first of two distinct championship courses built at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie. True to its name, it is carved out of dense, Northwest forest and stretches from 5600 to 7170 yards depending on which of the four tees you choose to play.
