If you're looking to play an outstanding round of mountain golf, look no further than the three award-winning courses here at The Waynesville Inn. The Carolina course, was the original nine-hole layout, designed by famed Scottish architect, Donald Ross, and lies on the pastures of an existing dairy farm. Over the years, the surrounding mountainsides were shaped into two additional nine-hole layouts, the Dogwood and Blue Ridge courses. Over the years, the Inn has hosted the likes of Sam Snead, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Billy Graham, President Richard Nixon, and even Willie Nelson. In keeping with the tradition of excellence, the courses at The Waynesville Inn recently received a 4-star rating from Golf Digest. As of this year International Golf Maintenance has taken the course's playability and natural beauty to another level.
