El Rio Golf Course dates back to the 1930s and was the original site for the Tucson Open. The course was operated as a country club until 1968 when the City of Tucson acquired it for public use. The course layout features tight fairways, small greens, relatively flat terrain, two lakes, and numerous trees. El Rio is ideal for the "short knocker," measuring 6,000 yards from the regular tees, and 6,400 from the back tees.

The Golf Club at Vistoso is an award-winning, Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole course. This semi-private course was built in 1995 and is nestled between the Tortolita and Santa Catalina Mountains. Vistoso is Spanish for "colorful views" and this course is equipped with dramatic scenery and impeccable conditions. This beautiful dessert course is one of the best properties that Tucson has to offer. Vistoso has been given a 4.5 star rating from Golf Digest and has been rated the Best Public Course in Tucson.
Is semi-private and offers golf to both members and the general public. From a challenging venue at over 7,000 yards, to amore forgiving course at 5,213 yards, Starr Pass offers unbelieveable views of the Tucson Valley.

The major features of the course are its vast teeing areas, large greens, strategic bunkers and sand traps, and most important of all, its concept as a semi-arid, limited turf course. Grass is used only on the tees, ball landing area, and greens, with undisturbed native plants comprising the remainder of the landscaping.
This is a typical desert course. The signature hole is #7, a 140-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water. Water hazards come into play on at least five holes.
Along the way, Arizona National Golf Club's diverse 6,785 yard layout will throw enough decisions and classic golf-in-the-desert challenges at you to test the very limits of your ability. Yet, it has the flexibility to do so without ever becoming unfair.
