The course rating is 74.3 and it has a slope rating of 140. Designed by W. Bruce Matthews, III, ASGCA, the Hidden River golf course opened in 1998.
The Crooked Tree Golf Club is perched on bluffs high above Bay Harbor. The Heather by Robert Trent Jones Ranked as one of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play " by Golf Magazine and "50 Best Courses for Women" by Golf for Women. Take your shots along wide tree-lined fairways, sculpted bunkers and daunting water hazards.The Heather boasts a masterful combination of challenging shots and beautiful scenery. The Moor features numerous doglegs, marshes and water holes along its 6850 yards. A well designed course for players of all levels. The Moor was the second course built at Boyne Highlands and is host to many exciting events including the AJGA's Coca-Cola Championship (July), Kircher Cup (September), and Harbor Cup (October).
