Formerly known as Columbia Island, this park was renamed in honor of Lady Bird Johnson and her campaign to beautify Washington D.C. Lake Presidential Golf Club, which opened in 2008, was the first new publicly-playable course to open in the region in a couple of years. The original layout was designed by Greg Norman, with significant alterations made to the final product. Five sets of tees give Lake Presidential a playing length of between 4,970 and 7230 yards. The course is located just off of Route 301 between Bowie and Upper Marlboro.
