             Spring - Enjoy this season of life by having the time of yours! Early spring is never too late in New England to catch some last minute skiing, the middle and later months of spring are great for hiking, biking, and fishing. Spring is a great time to catch very rare trees and plants explode into vibrant color, or take up ‘mudding’ which is very popular this time of year. Hop on an ATV or ‘four-wheeler’ and spin tires through the various muddy trails; just make sure to bring a change of clothes.  Spring is also when Clark’s Trading Post opens its doors. Clark’s is home to trained bear shows, antique shops, old time photos, and of course a rustic thirty minutes train ride through covered bridges and White Mountain wilderness.              Summer - Summer brings with it the ability to go higher into the White Mountains more comfortable as a day trip, and with a broader age range. Enjoy even more Hunting and fishing, or hop into the Swift River. The Swift River runs parallel to the Kancamagus Highway and is great for canoeing, kayaking, rafting or swimming. Ruggles Mine, Story Land, Clarks Trading Post are all open this time of year.

             Fall - What more can be said of fall than leaf peeping from the vantage point of one of the top ten most scenic highways in the country; the Kancamagus was rated by AAA, and when you see it you’ll immediately understand. Thirty plus miles of winding highway through the White Mountain National Forest can only be enhanced by the full spectrum of color being displayed by the Forests trees. Oranges, yellows, reds, greens, and every combination thereof, are showcased in full Panorama; it gains even more depth and dimension with the elevation changes as you drive through what seems like endless peaks and valleys. When you get to the other side, you’ll be in Lincoln NH; grab a bit at Fratello’s Italian Restaurant, or for a taste of New Hampshire head to Woodstock Station in Woodstock (five more minutes drive). Woodstock station has their own microbrewery, and makes some of the best New England comfort foods around.

             Winter - Winter is one of the most popular seasons in the White Mountain region; can you guess why? Skiing, snowboarding, sledding and tubing are offered at several area slopes, and North Conway timeshares are less than an hour from the action!
