Six Flags Over Georgia is a 230-acre (0.93 km2) theme park located west of Atlanta, in unincorporated Cobb County. Six Flags Over Georgia and its two sister parks, Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags St. Louis, are the only three parks in the Six Flags Theme Parks chain to have been founded by Angus G. Wynne, and thus they are the only parks to have used the "Six Flags" name since their original grand openings. Welcome to Creekside Golf and Country Club in Hiram Georgia. We invite you to come discover a golf course that Golf Digest called "a hidden jewel". Two... distinctly different 9-hole layouts that require different strategies. The front nine that was made for course management and shot placement. The back nine constantly dares a player to see how much you can chew. But then it's not just the pleasant surroundings at Creekside that will capture your attention, you will also find the demands that have been extracted from the Georgia Countryside will make you sit up and take notice. Manicured Crenshaw Bentgrass Greens and Bermuda Fairways complete the quality golf experience. The moment you step up to the 14 th tee box, a 468-yard par 4, you'll understand how Creekside will set your scoring finish. Water follows the landing area nearly all the way to the green, yet you must place a perfect drive to have any sort of approach shot to an awaiting green guarded by a lake and bunkers in front of the green. A test when passed...lifts your spirit, challenging you to go for a par 5 island green finishing hole in 2. That's why it has been said... at Creekside, "it's more than a game".
