Wild Plum Country Retreat, once the site of an Underground Railroad House built in 1830, is now the site of our beautiful brand new chalet house built in 2008. It's set on 83 acres of rolling hills, farmland, woodland nature trails and some incredible sunsets and hill top views and is located 17 miles southeast of Cortland, home of the NY Jets training camp. The living room, dining room and kitchen have a 20 foot cathedral ceiling that leads to the large front porch where you will see some beautiful sunsets... and at night the stars are spectacular. Just down the road within walking distance is the Otselic River known as Wild Plum by the Native Americans, for fun, sun, fishing, swimming and tubing. Our home is like your home so please treat it like you would yours. This is not a party house but a family house... no pets and no smoking please. Please download Java(tm). Our kitchen is beautiful with all brand new appliances and a large center island. Appliances include a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffeemaker and microwave. Its fully equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pens and all of the utensils you need. The house has two bedrooms on the first floor, each with queen size beds. There's a bathroom also, with brand new washer and dryer and a stand-up shower. Upstairs you'll find a loft with a twin size bed and a PlayStation game for the kids to use. There is also a very large room with a queen size bed and a twin size bed along with a walk-in closet and a very large bathroom with stand-up shower, two sinks and a large bath tub.
