Halfway between St. Louis, Missouri, and Springfield, Illinois, Honey Bend is built on Illinois' wooded rolling hills. Its three ponds give fishermen a chance to go after channel catfish, bass, crappie, bluegill, and carp. Jonboats and paddle boats are also available. The clubhouse with its special decor and landscaping, is one of the main features of the resort. It is full of antiques, including a working player piano and a huge French chandelier. Open year-round.
