What I liked about the Resort:
The space the resort provides has to be one of the best features. Having a full size kitchen allows you to cook many of the meals during the stay which saves you a lot of money. Be warned all food and beverage you purchase at Atlantis comes with a 15% Gratuity automatically. So even walking up to a snack shack will get you hit with the 15% tip on your bill.

The one reason for only giving a 4 star on unit satisfaction is because the unit was slightly worn down but while we where their they were doing a lot of maintenance on the building so I think most of these issues will be corrected soon. The other issue with Harborside is how far you are from the beach. Walking distance its probably 25-30 minutes. If you take the Shuttle it really depends on how long you have to wait for the shuttle to come around. Even once you get dropped off at Atlantis its a 15 minute walk through all the pools and water park to get to the beach area.

The service was pretty good I certainly have stayed at resorts that have much better service and it seemed it really depended on who you were dealing with as the service was hit or miss on how good it was.

It was nice that the hotel key worked for buying food, drinks, and pretty much anything at the resort as well at the casino for their points program. It was nice not having to bring cash or a credit card around the resort as losing a room key was much easier to replace. One annoyance was all of the checkpoints that you either needed the wrist band or hotel key so they know you had access to those areas. Its understandable as i am sure people try to walk from the beach into the water park.

Overall for what we paid compared to what it costs to stay at Atlantis, The Cove, or The Reef this was the best deal going that allowed us to stay in this area and enjoy all the amenities you get when staying at Atlantis

What are the best attractions and/or restaurants:
Some of the attractions you will want to visit on the resort property are

    The Dig
    Village Marina

If you walk from Harborside over to Atlantis you will walk through the shops in the Village Marina as well some places to eat. Once you get into the Marina you will see some massive Yachts. Every day it seemed there were new boats in the Marina.

Aquaventure is huge and very confusing to find the different rides so plan to spend a few days to get to all the rides.

The Dig is the underwater Aquarium that is a must see. Try going during the day and at night as its very different day vs night. You will see a lot of fish, sting rays, jelly fish and other aquatic wildlife.

The restaurants at Atlanits are great but expensive so like I said before get food for your room to save you some money not having to eat out every day. If you do go these are the restaurants I recommend

The Mesa Grill - Expensive for sure but amazing food
The Market Place - The buffet it was $49 per adult but was good you have to try the Stir fry station
Virgils BBQ - great BBQ for being on an Island

We didn't eat at all the places on the resort but those are the 3 that I would certainly go back to again.

Off the resort we did some Scuba diving with it is a private boat rental and worth the extra money to get to do the dives you want to do. The Captain and Dive master were great and knew the best places to dive.

Also head to the Straw Market where you can find all the hand crafted items as well lots of high end stores and jewlery stores. Its a good half day to explore everything in the Straw Market

If you do leave the resort and need a Taxi make sure to ask how much before getting in as there are no meters and I found prices were much higher when you get there and if you ask before the price was extremely negotiable.

I think if there was easier access to the beach area's this would be a frequent repeat vacation for me.
