What I liked about the Resort
Forest Glenn Inn had a little bit of everything for everyone. Right when you drive up there is a pool, and a kiddie pool right there off to the side, and the units all have a balcony which was nice. There was also a game room with some pool tables, and tons of puzzles and board games as well to keep you entertained. They also offered a wine and cheese night in the lounge as well, as coffee every morning. The playground was pretty decent, and the gardens near the tennis courts and basketball courts were beautiful, and smelled great.
What are the best attractions and/or restaurants
One place you don't want to miss is the Frontside Grind in the middle of town. They have awesome coffee and are in the middle of town, plenty to see and check out. Other things to do are sleigh and carriage rides at the Stables at the Farm by the River, which is fun during summer or winter! But if you have a bit of a sweet tooth you don't want to miss the Bavarian Chocolate Haus where the chocolate is melt in your mouth delicious. For some fun times you should visit the Banana Village Adventure Golf mini golf place located right outside of town.
Over all North Conway and the Forest Glen Inn which was a bit off of the beaten path but nice since it was away from the hustle and bustle of the main drag of North Conway but still offering beautiful views of the mountains. It was also close to so much to do, the room was really a place to crash at the end of a day of hiking, or exploring the nearby towns, and all of the things to do there. One thing that was nice was the fact that there was a huge downstairs, with an area for kids to play, a few arcade games, a laundry area, and a few couches to hang out with the family or friends you came with. It was a good way to catch up and take a few minutes to relax. One of my favorite things to do was take a swim in the pool in the morning, since it was peaceful, and you could just enjoy the quiet and the water. My friends liked using the grills, and taking walks down the roads to see all of the houses and the different types of shops we could find. I would stay here again, the staff was very friendly, making sure to help us plan out what we wanted to do each day, and letting us know which places to stay away from and which to frequent. They also are great with directions to avoid the traffic that happens during lunch time on the main road through North Conway.
