Throughout 2008 and 2009 straits in the U.S economy have triggered companies to pare staff by the thousand. US unemployment has increased, and in the aftermath of a tough credit market, companies like Marriott, Wyndham and Consolidated Resorts have shed sales departments of their hospitality industry.
BuyATimeshare.com is the leading timeshare resale firm. Due to an increase in the demand for selling and renting timeshares, this resale market is witnessing a boom. Vacationers are finding affordable trips during economic hardship, and the timeshare owners are getting their properties sold.
Contrary to current conditions, BuyATimeshare.com, a New Hampshire-based timeshare reseller and marketing firm has recently expanded its office in Merrimack, New Hampshire and in Tampa, Florida to handle the flood of buyers and renters looking for affordable rates at luxury suites.
Wes Kogelman, President of BuyATimeshare.com explains “We have the most aggressive marketing program to bring buyers and seller of timeshare properties together; we’ve shown success with all timeshare properties throughout the world and want to offer people a worry-free way to sell or rent their timeshare properties.”
As a timeshare property ownership can bring years of affordable vacationing, likewise it can become a liability. While annual maintenance fees pile up for some owners, others are unable to even enjoy their timeshare year after year. A growing number of people are liquidating assets and scurrying to pay their inflated home mortgages,
BuyATimeshare.com has created the resale marketplace on their website to help in their efforts. Advertising is a significant tool in a world driven by internet technology. More and more owners cannot afford, do not use, or are just looking to sell or rent their timeshare properties. “We’ve listened to our consumers and want to do everything possible to help. We are providing the best worldwide exposure to get timeshares sold,” Kogelman said.

Timeshare Resales Boosts Timeshare Value June 22, 2009

You too may own a timeshare because of a sales presentation and some gift you were promised.
Buyatimeshare.com is typically approached by couples who need help finding someone to buy the vacation property they often couldn’t afford in the first place. Salesmen often pitch the highest prices packages that are, with options that are too complex for any novice to understand. Over the past few years a growing number of people have been coming forward with stories of how they were passed up the ranks until a signature as finally pried from them.
On the other hand, folks who have dealt with their share of “tours” enjoy their timeshares and continue to use them everyday. A thriving marketplace of buyers are looking to the internet to find the best prices rather than paying upwards of $30,000.
BuyATimeshare.com is poised at the top of all search engines to find these potential buyers and renters.
Not just do we offer the best advertising online, but we interact with buyers to answer questions and verify the offer is from a serious buyer/renter before bringing it to the owners’ attention.
The developers, in such tough economic times, will secure any sale to move inventory and “make sales.” However, by closing these sales, that are destine to default, the salesmen are stripping this inventory of value! Closing these signatures NOW as a sales tactic is illustrated perfectly by the dramatic drop in all Asset Back Securities in the timeshare sector of hospitality.
BuyATimeshare.com exists to repair this reckless salesmanship. We work help those who want out of the timeshare they were often sold while looking for the free trip they were promised. The timeshare concept is something to be enjoyed. The extensive inventory at BuyATimeshare.com has been fueling affordable vacations for a decade, at sought after resorts around the world.

The celebration continued as the grill was lit again for nice dinner for all. The full spread was laid out, with homemade specialties ranging from salads to deserts, and enough hamburger patties and ballpark franks to put any timeshare resort to shame.
As the music filled the rainy parking lot, and many folks were still working steadily with a plate by their side it was easy to see how much the office has grown, and how well everyone was doing as a team. BuyATimeshare.com has tripled its sales and offers are flooding in with the approach of a warm summer season.
This recent celebration has triggered a variety of advertising deals for owners looking to sell their timeshares for less money upfront. Our powerful marketing team has been providing the widest range of timeshare solutions for over 300,000 vacation property owners, buyers, and renters. The Most Valuable Timeshare Advertising in the World June 16, 2009
Posted by Bryan Connelly in : Disney, General, Marriott Timeshares, RCI, Timeshare Rental, Timeshare Resale, Timeshare Resource, Travel, Uncategorized, Wyndham Timeshares , add a commentThere are thousands of Timeshare resale companies around the world that will list your property; but only a chosen few can really provide the global exposure necessary to successfully sell your timeshare. Only BuyATimeshare.com, however, has the services in place to handle the entire process.
BuyATimeshare.com gets it right the first time. Our staff is dedicated to providing the best advertising to timeshare owners from around the world. Over 300,000 satisfied buyers, renters and sellers love the convenience and advertising might of BuyATimeshare.com.
Owners are often looking to get back what they paid for their timeshare. On the resale market owners typically won’t get back what they initially paid. The most valuable services will charge an upfront fee. Newspapers, phonebooks and magazine advertising all charge a non-refundable fee and wont target timeshare buyers specifically.
Brokers aren’t necessarily the best option, and typically it isn’t an option at all in regards to timeshare resales. Advertising reaches a worldwide marketplace of timeshare buyers and can guarantee a commission-free sale. Despite today’s economy, owners like what they have and continue to use timeshares every day.
Aggressively pricing your vacation property will attract a buyer. Selling it off for thousands of dollars less than what you first paid is what will get that property sold! Advertising the property will cost you a lot less than any other avenue and depending on who you chose to market your property, it will sell!
BuyATimeshare.com is the leading name in timeshare resales. We are one of the only businesses to charge a one time listing fee with a money back guarantee! Your timeshare will remain listed until sold! No magazine will promise that!

Ritz Carlton Moves to Points June 9, 2009
Posted by Jason Dobbins in : Disney, General, New Features, Ritz Carlton, Timeshare Resale, Timeshare Resource , add a commentRitz Carlton Hotel Co. added a destination club option on April 28th. Instead of locking investors into a specific destination they are allowing investors to purchase points packages which allow them to own interest in several vacation properties. This will allow and investor in the Ritz Carlton point package to travel to all Ritz’s properties worldwide.
The cost of these packages will cost from the low $100,000 to $800,000. This strategy is similar to one used by the less pricey Disney Vacation Club. Investors in both programs are able to use points like a currency which allows them to buy their vacation time.
In past Ritz Carlton owners would own a specific resort and should attract more people who don’t want to be an owner of a single resort. “Points give you much more flexibility.” said David Short, Ritz-Carlton Destination Club’s regional vice president of sales. “They allow people to customize each trip to their own needs.”
Awesome Business! Awesome People! Awesome Place to Work! June 5, 2009
Posted by Bryan Connelly in : Customer Comments, General, News & Events, Timeshare Resource , add a commentA letter from one of our Customer Service Representatives Karen Content:
I have been working for BuyATimeshare.com in the New Hampshire office for 3 years now. I began only months after the owner Wes Kogelman established this office once moving back from Tampa, Florida to his native state.
It was after listing my timeshare property for sale with BuyATimeshare.com that I got this job. One of the sales representatives was so friendly that we got to talking about new openings. When I went in to apply he welcomed me aboard, and 3 years later there I am still here.
When I started at the NH office there were about 7 employees including Wes himself who trained me personally. Over the years, out of the 7 people, the office has grown to more than 30 employees and there are still 3 of us “veterans†and doing a great job.
Today BuyATimeshare.com is comprised of dozens of talented people, not including the other office that Wes has established to house our Buyer Specialists, Rental Department, Brokers and Title company. The office manager Tim Bohn now sees over the weekly training sessions as the company has expanded over the years.
Coming from a background in banking, I never thought I would go into the timeshare resale industry. It’s amazing how big the resale business has become throughout the world and I am only a small part of it.
Wes Kogelman has developed this company into being the best reseller of timeshare in the world and I am lucky enough to be a part of that. He strives to better the business each and every day. He works one on one with each employee because he understands that each person has unique needs than their fellow coworkers and he accommodates wherever he can.
BuyATimeshare.com is an awesome company and an amazing place to work! The energy level in the office is incredible—everyone works together so well that when Wes and his office manager Tim Bohn need to be in the Tampa office, New Hampshire just runs itself! We know what we need to do to get the job done right!
Marriott Vacation Club Owners Get Reward Program June 1, 2009
Posted by Jason Dobbins in : General, Marriott Timeshares, New Features, News & Events , add a commentAll Marriott Vacation Club Owners will now have access to the very successful Marriott Rewards. Timeshare Owners will now be entitled to Marriott’s Fifth Night Free Program. The program requires that the guest book a 5 night vacation and the 5th night will be free of charge.
The company is moving in a direction which will assign hotel category levels to the Marriott Vacation Club Timeshare Resorts. The Timeshares will be ranked in number categories (5,6, and 7) under the Marriott Rewards system. This level will determine how many points will be required for a 1 night say. Typically it will be 25,000; 30,000; or 35,000 points respectively. These will be based on a deluxe guest room and will depend on the ranking of the timeshare property. Obviously the higher end timeshare resorts or larger bedrooms will cost more points.
