There are thousands of Timeshare resale companies around the world that will list your property; but only a chosen few can really provide the global exposure necessary to successfully sell your timeshare. Only BuyATimeshare.com, however, has the services in place to handle the entire process.

BuyATimeshare.com gets it right the first time. Our staff is dedicated to providing the best advertising to timeshare owners from around the world. Over 300,000 satisfied buyers, renters and sellers love the convenience and advertising might of BuyATimeshare.com.

Owners are often looking to get back what they paid for their timeshare. On the resale market owners typically won’t get back what they initially paid. The most valuable services will charge an upfront fee. Newspapers, phonebooks and magazine advertising all charge a non-refundable fee and wont target timeshare buyers specifically.

Brokers aren’t necessarily the best option, and typically it isn’t an option at all in regards to timeshare resales. Advertising reaches a worldwide marketplace of timeshare buyers and can guarantee a commission-free sale. Despite today’s economy, owners like what they have and continue to use timeshares every day.

Aggressively pricing your vacation property will attract a buyer. Selling it off for thousands of dollars less than what you first paid is what will get that property sold! Advertising the property will cost you a lot less than any other avenue and depending on who you chose to market your property, it will sell!

BuyATimeshare.com is the leading name in timeshare resales. We are one of the only businesses to charge a one time listing fee with a money back guarantee! Your timeshare will remain listed until sold! No magazine will promise that!

Ritz Carlton Moves to Points June 9, 2009

Ritz Carlton Hotel Co. added a destination club option on April 28th. Instead of locking investors into a specific destination they are allowing investors to purchase points packages which allow them to own interest in several vacation properties. This will allow and investor in the Ritz Carlton point package to travel to all Ritz’s properties worldwide.

The cost of these packages will cost from the low $100,000 to $800,000. This strategy is similar to one used by the less pricey Disney Vacation Club. Investors in both programs are able to use points like a currency which allows them to buy their vacation time.

In past Ritz Carlton owners would own a specific resort and should attract more people who don’t want to be an owner of a single resort. “Points give you much more flexibility.” said David Short, Ritz-Carlton Destination Club’s regional vice president of sales. “They allow people to customize each trip to their own needs.”

Despite folks paring costs anywhere they can, consumers have not completely cut leisure travel out of their lifestyle. The travel industry is bouncing back. People who do still travel are adapting their annual routine, staying closer to home for a change. The attitude that followed the U.S. financial crisis has caused people to vacation at their own part of the country—enjoying their nearby cities and mountains. People are seeking more local destinations, finding unbeatable deals on their own side of the ocean and not giving up their plans to travel.

Rather than buying airfare to cross the open seas, Americans are exploring Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. Both the Peso and the Canadian dollar have dropped significantly, making travel to these country and great value for neighboring Americans. Today, people are forced to look deeper for deals on everything from gas to Christmas presents. They are beginning to explore the timeshare industry as an alternative to hotels or staying the night on grandma’s futon.

Owners of timeshares at far-off tropical destinations for instance, have not been able to ante up to the airfare, let alone venture the cost of fun. So their international timeshare sits and waits while the owner searches further to get the best deal for this year’s holiday trip. At timeshare resale companies like BuyATimeshare.com we are seeing a tendency in those who rent and buy timeshares. Consumers are placing less emphasis on international trips, only traveling as far as Hawaii to vacation, and renting a resort near their family for the holidays.

People are become more educated about the timeshare industry they are reaping the benefits of the resale market. BuyATimeshare.com has made buying timeshares on the resale market as easy as it gets. Like everything, you always pay less when it’s ‘used.’ But a stay at a luxury resort does not carry any ‘used-car’ problems—and will cost far less than retail. The search for value is greater than ever and travelers will cut back on spending by shortening trips and down scaling the level of hotel they stay at, and have switched to a more local destination. With companies like BuyATimeshare.com looking to sell timeshares, there is no reason to spend too much or cut back too much on your next vacation.
