IHG, trying their luck at the billion-dollar timeshare industry, has created Holiday Inn Club Vacations. This will be yet another family of resorts to be added to the BuyATimeshare.com register. At BuyATimeshare.com, a marriage like this will only add to our marketing extensive inventory of world renowned brands—for thousands of dollars less than the developer.
The Orange Lake’s flagship Resort & Country Club in Orlando, Florida will be the first resort converted. It is scheduled to be ready for December of 2008 under the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand. This impressive property offers 2,412 villas on a beautifully appointed 1,400-acre site next to Walt Disney World. Soon Holiday Inn Club Vacations will convert the remaining Orange Lake Resorts in Ascutney, Vermont; Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; and Panama City, Florida. Orange Lake Resorts will still be owned and operated by the Wilson family, founders of the Holiday Inn brand.
IHG has made other aggressive moves in recent weeks, including endeavors in Costa Rica, Vietnam, India, Ecuador, and will soon take over two hotels in Wuhan, China. While other companies are waiting for a more amiable economic environment to make a move, IHG is bounding into the timeshare market. This latest venture coincides with the $1billion relaunch and rebranding of 3,200 IHG’s Holiday Inn Hotels, with completions scheduled for end of 2010.
Within a few years, you can expect to see Holiday Inn Club Vacations for sale by owner on the resale market. BuyATimeshare.com offers numerous Orange Lake Resorts packages, and we are looking forward to advertising IHG resorts from all over the world—with no commission, no broker fees, and no sales pressure.
