The family of Orange Lake resorts has announced the groundbreaking of a new presidential suite building located next door to Walt Disney World Resort. The River Island village, at their 1,450-acre flagship timeshare resort in Orlando, will be introducing this second River Island building. With 156 villas and presidential suites, pre-construction sales will be scheduled for later this year.

Design Poole Inc. of Melbourne, Florida has been designing the Spanish Mediterranean-style product for Orange Lake owners and guests. Don Harrill, President and CEO for The Family of Orange Lake Resorts explained “we asked our owners what they wanted and we have created this new product based on their excellent feedback. We are confident that our new product will take our owners’ vacation experience to the next level, rivaling that of our competitors around the globe.” The presidential suites will include 2-bedroom, 3-brdroom and 4-bedroom villas with upgraded furnishings like full internet services, a sophisticated home electronics package and flat screen TVs. The leather furniture, granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, and stainless steel appliances will compliment the oversized kitchen and dining space to accommodate the needs of any size family.

The 12-acre River Island village, a themed tropical island paradise, is one of four resort village at Orange Lake Orlando, and features a lazy-river and beach-style swimming pools with spas, 36-hole miniature golf, the River Island Grilling Company. The multi-terraced deck with indoor and outdoor dining includes Tradewinds Bar, Windward and Leeward pool bars with Internet Cafés and a tickets and transportation desk nearby.
