Bargain shopping, cheap airfare, and numerous deals for end-of-summer savings are everywhere. Ideal for leaf-peeping, fishing and hunting expeditions or a last minute vacation in the tropics—Labor Day is when the fall clearances begin. Airlines, hotels, and restaurants are all competing to get your business, and depending on how you shop, you could save thousands on a trip anywhere in the world!
Many domestic airlines are getting an early jump on fall time fare bargains. The Air Transportation Association stated the reason is falling demand, and U.S. airlines expect to carry nearly 6 percent fewer passengers over the holiday period than they did last year. Foreign carriers are hopping onboard as well slashing prices just to keep seats filled. Rick Seaney, chief executive of FareCompare.com, a Texas-based firm that tracks airline ticket prices, explains “There seem to be a lot of price-slashing happening this year… It’s a bit more aggressive than what we usually see.â€
The best deals for travel are between Labor Day and Thanksgiving holiday travel. Due to dwindling air traffic and travelers abroad, a great time to find cheap fares is now! Typically fewer people are booking travel during this time of year—proving to be a slow period for airlines. Seany remarked “I think [airlines] want to make sure those planes are full, so they’re topping them off with these cheep fares.â€
Timeshares have always proven beneficial for annual vacationers. Unfortunately, a far off tropical timeshare is not worth much if you have to spend a small for tune just to get there. At BuyATimeshar.com we have vacation properties on the resale market that are priced to sell. Combined with the early jump to fall rates, you and yours could really save this Labor Day season.
