Buyatimeshare Donates to the Fight against Breast Cancer June 7, 2007

I wanted to take the time to write a “thank you” to Vacation Property Resale’s for their extremely generous donation! I am doing the 3 Day 60 mile breast cancer walk this year down in Boston. I have a team of 5 other woman that are going to be walking with me. In order to participate, we have to each raise $2200.00 in order to walk. So besides asking friends and family to make donations, I have gone around to local businesses and also asked them to donate to this very important cause.

When I went to Vacation Property Resale’s, the President was very open to sitting down and listening to me. I was quite impressed with his willingness to take time out of his very busy schedule to listen. I was even more surprised after being in his office for awhile and seeing how busy he was. There was quite a “buzz” in the office. After each sale of a timeshare, his Advertising Executive would come to a board outside his office and mark down the timeshare as sold.

Most business that I have visited have brushed me off by asking me to leave some literature and someone would get back to me. Not Vacation Property Resale’s. He really saw value in the 3-Day and made a very generous donation!!! He also took the time to ask me what other fund raising tasks I was considering. I had mentioned that I had a “Dough raiser” coming up, and explained that a local pizza restaurant had agreed to donate to me 20% of the sales for the evening. All I had to do is have people come in with a coupon and turn it in with their bill. At the end of the night, they total up the bills with the coupons and I would receive 20% of the total sales. To my surprise, the night of the “Dough raiser” I saw the president come into the restaurant. I was there with a large group of people I had convinced to come out for the event. He had come over to me and told me he was picking up pizza that he bought for his entire office. It was such a great gesture and truly appreciated.
