You Own….A Plane? June 26, 2007

When planning a vacation or business trip what always seems to be the # 1 hassle? If you said air travel, you are probably correct. There is no bigger irritation then starting or ending your family vacation with a delayed or cancelled flight. This is why more and more people are turning to ownership of a corporate jet. Why rent a seat with an additional 128 people, when you can enjoy a more intimate setting with just you.

This is what AirSprint Inc. thought as well when they opened their doors in 1999. Based out of Quebec, the company now maintains 11 timeshare jets, owned mostly by corporate users. When an owner needs use of the jet, one is flown to them at their location. The company handles all maintenance services and manages pilot’s schedules. AirSprint happens to be the largest domestic player; however there are other players in the industry, such as NetJets.

Owning a share of a private jet isn’t obviously for everyone, however for those of you who travel a lot for business or leisure; this is a sure more convenient way to get around.

Great Experience June 25, 2007

Dear Wes,

I purchased a timeshare with your company about a year ago up in Maine near Bar Harbor, called Acadia Village Resort. I had gone in on the purchase with another couple. They happen to enjoy winter sports, while my husband and I prefer summer activities. Bar Harbor is the perfect spot for all seasons, offering snowmobiling, skating, hiking and biking. I have never experienced such a beautiful National Park. There are mountains overlooking the ocean and over to Canada, all among a very quaint town, filled with great restaurants and shops.

I also want to take this time to thank your company. Going into this I was blind as to the process of how to purchase a timeshare and you guys made the whole experience very hassle-free for my husband and I. Thanks again!

Sincerely,
Joanna Wallis

Vacation Clubs June 25, 2007

One of the things you will hear people say in regards to timeshare ownership is that they are bound to one location. This is why vacation clubs are more popular then ever.

A vacation club is an organization that owns multiple properties in various locations. By being a club member you can reserve space at any of the different resorts within the organization. Typically, when you first sign-up there is an initial cost to join along with annual fees. There are also different levels of membership. Having a higher level membership may allow you priority over certain units or guaranteed larger rooms.

Here are two common ways that vacation clubs are structured:

1. The developers own the property and the club has access to the properties via a contractual relationship with the owner.
2. The Developer transfers ownership of the properties to the club after they are built. If your club membership also gives fractional ownership in the clubs, then you will own the properties indirectly through the club.

Condo Hotels: Another Approach into Timeshare Ownership June 22, 2007

Are you looking to purchase a timeshare, but may only be able to get away for a few weeks a year? If so, then investing in a condo hotel may be right for you.

When you purchase a condo hotel you, as the owner, have very few worries. In most cases, a professional management company will come in and handle all maintenance services as well as rent it out throughout the year. When you rent out the property the money you generate can assist in the upkeep of your property and in many cases pay for some or the entire mortgage.

When purchasing a condo hotel there are some things you should consider before you sign on the dotted line. For example, if you are depending on your property being occupied 11 months out of the year, you better buy in highly populated tourists’ areas that draw in crowds of people all year long.

You should also consider what chain of condo hotels you want to be associated with. For example, a name like “Marriott” will attract more potential renters, as opposed to “Motel America”. To learn more, contact www.buyatimeshare.com

Not Ready to Buy? June 20, 2007

Purchasing a vacation timeshare can be a hard decision. To some, it’s a piece of property that may only be occupied for a few weeks/months out of the year. Some find it hard to justify the cost and need more time or understanding in order to buy.

This is where Timeshare Trial Programs become helpful. Timeshare operators say it’s a cost effective sales/marketing tool that has proven to be a success. Statistics show that over 40% who have “tested the waters” will buy. It allows them a trial period to see if it is really something they are interested in, and in most cases it ends up being a win – win for consumers and developers.

The timeshare industry, over the past few years, has become a much more competitive industry for the major players such as www.buyatimeshare.com . Statistics also show around 4.1 million households to own one or more timeshares in the U.S. Many vacation resorts are adapting this idea of timeshares as well. Last year, there were 1,604 timeshare resorts in the U.S. alone.

If you are interested in buying or selling a timeshare, there are many companies out there to help you find or get exactly what you are looking for.

I wanted to take a moment to say how wonderful my experience has been working with you. I just recently purchased my second timeshare through your company at Sea Pines Resort, in Hilton Head, SC. I currently also have one in Stowe, VT at the Mountainside Resort in Stowe. My experience from beginning to end was no less than exceptional. In both cases, I went through your website to kick-off the buying process and within an hour, one of your representatives called me back and was able to answer to all my questions without hesitation. He then guided me on to the next step, making me feel great about my decision all the way through. Along with exceptional customer service, I also found your website to be one of the more user-friendly and accurate sites in the industry.

All in all, I had a great experience and was very excited to purchase my second timeshare through your company. For anyone looking to buy a timeshare, rent a timeshare, or sell their timeshare, I recommend www.BuyATimeshare.com .

Sincerely,
Joanne Bonisolli

Buyatimeshare Donates to the Fight against Breast Cancer June 7, 2007

I wanted to take the time to write a “thank you” to Vacation Property Resale’s for their extremely generous donation! I am doing the 3 Day 60 mile breast cancer walk this year down in Boston. I have a team of 5 other woman that are going to be walking with me. In order to participate, we have to each raise $2200.00 in order to walk. So besides asking friends and family to make donations, I have gone around to local businesses and also asked them to donate to this very important cause.

When I went to Vacation Property Resale’s, the President was very open to sitting down and listening to me. I was quite impressed with his willingness to take time out of his very busy schedule to listen. I was even more surprised after being in his office for awhile and seeing how busy he was. There was quite a “buzz” in the office. After each sale of a timeshare, his Advertising Executive would come to a board outside his office and mark down the timeshare as sold.

Most business that I have visited have brushed me off by asking me to leave some literature and someone would get back to me. Not Vacation Property Resale’s. He really saw value in the 3-Day and made a very generous donation!!! He also took the time to ask me what other fund raising tasks I was considering. I had mentioned that I had a “Dough raiser” coming up, and explained that a local pizza restaurant had agreed to donate to me 20% of the sales for the evening. All I had to do is have people come in with a coupon and turn it in with their bill. At the end of the night, they total up the bills with the coupons and I would receive 20% of the total sales. To my surprise, the night of the “Dough raiser” I saw the president come into the restaurant. I was there with a large group of people I had convinced to come out for the event. He had come over to me and told me he was picking up pizza that he bought for his entire office. It was such a great gesture and truly appreciated.

Thank you Vacation Property Resale’s for your generous donation and support for the fight against breast cancer.

Michelle Carpenter.
