Fairfield Glade is located just 6 miles off I-40 and is a short drive to three metropolitan cities - less than an hour to Knoxville and an hour and a half to either Nashville or Chattanooga. Fairfield Glade is perched high atop the Cumberland Plateau, the highest point between the Rocky and Smokiy Mountains. At 2,000 feet elevation, the area enjoys cooler summers than many areas of the south, as well as very mild winters.
