"Occidental Aruba has been our choice, of resorts to stay at, for several visits to Aruba. You see familiar personnel faces every time you visit. The resort is clean, just steps from a beautiful beach. Pool area is clean and well maintained. Water aerobics, games and pool volleyball, if you'd like. Occidental employees are smiling, warm, friendly, helpful. Bar on the beach, swim up bar, casino, nightly entertainment. Located on the 'main drag' with shops, restaurants, nightclubs. Although this is an all-inclusive, sometimes we will try one or two different restaurants - never had a bad meal. Not too far from the airport. The beach side of the resort has a paved walkway that connects to back ends of the other resorts in the area which makes it nice for a long morning walk. Restaurants are good - Palm Buffet offers a terrific breakfast buffet to start your day, you can eat outside and watch the resident iguanas lay on the rocks in the morning sun) and there is a weekly 'Manager's Party" on the beach with food and entertainment - nice atmosphere at night with the tiki torches lit!!!! Rooms are clean and both bathrooms done well. Any boating side trips for a sunset cruise or snorkeling during the day, the piers are within walking distance from the resort. On-site availability for parasailing, banana boat rides or jet skis too. In the lobby, you can sign up for tours to see the island. Aruba is beautiful. All-in-all, Occidental is a great resort. "

Occidental Grand Aruba has the most beautiful beach. Accommodations are amazing, the suite's are so comfortable and roomy. Service and restaurants are outstanding. Nothing bad to say about the whole experience.
