Welcome to Harmony Ridge Resort in beautiful Nevada City, California. If you are not a member and have never been here you are in for a very pleasant surprise when you arrive. We are an exclusively private resort with emphasis placed upon family fun and relaxation.
This Northern California park is located just 3 miles outside of Nevada City, which is just beyond Grass Valley, heart of the Gold Country, in the Tahoe National Forest among tall pine trees. It's at 3,400 ft. elevation and is cool and comfortable in the Summer, and is just below the snow and above the valley fog in the Winter months. Nevada County is perfect for all seasons! Spring time here is beautiful and Autumn when the leaves change colors, well let's just say it's picture postcard quality.
For your stay with us, we offer private cabins, RV's, or if you plan on bringing your own RV, we have level sites with hookups.

2) CAMP OFTEN....you may camp as often as you like in your "home park".

4) CLOSE TO HOME......to use your membership often enough for it to more than pay for itself you want your "home park" to be as close to "home" as possible. You'll rarely, if ever, use a "home park" on the other side of the country.
5) BEAUTIFUL......you want to camp where it is beautiful. There are parks in the valley, but is it really camping if the scenery is the same, or worse, as from your back yard? We have tall pine trees, and you can actually see the stars at night here. We ARE one of the most desired locations in the state.
6) HOLIDAYS......Major holiday weekends (Labor Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th) at public parks are impossible to get in on. Member parks restrict use to "home park" members only. You are GUARANTEED a site here at your "home park" on these most popular camping dates which you are most likely to use.
7) ACCOMMODATIONS......not everyone has a tent, a tent trailer, a motor-home, or a vacation cabin in the mountains. We do, see our "Lodging" page.
8) AFFORDABILITY......you will not find a lower price for a campground membership program with a comparable quality reciprocal system. We have different membership options and terms which allows us to match anyone else's price.
9) QUALITY...... Some offers of cheap memberships or resold memberships in parks halfway across the country lure you into believing you are getting the same benefits. Don't get fooled into a cheap membership with unreasonably high maintenance fees and nothing but restrictions on where you can go.
