While in Las Vegas and had purchased the Grandview Resort time share had lots of fun staying at the MGM Grand hotel. The MGM hotel for had some great deals on shows to see while in Las Vegas. Went and seen the Criss Angel show to which was an amazing show at the Luxor Hotel. For the seats were awesome and amazed at his magic that he performed that night.
Went to dinner at the Eifel Tower in the Paris hotel to which the food and service were both excellent. Was able to reserve a seat well ahead of time to watch both the sunset and the free water show from the Bellagio Fountains that was right across from the Eifel Tower Restaurant. Also, got to see a parade of Nascar cars go down the road for they were going to be racing at a local track the next day or so.
Also went to the Terry Fator show which was in the Mirage hotel and got another surprise for Terry Fator gets a veteran from the audience and they had pre-selected one earlier to which at first was not me. Well that veteran could not do it for he was claustrophobic and therefore could not wear the mask that Terry had put on his face. So then Terry had to get another veteran to participate to which ended up being me. Yes I was standing on the stage with Terry Fator to which then put the mask on me, then the dress, and then the wig. That will be a night that I will remember for the rest of my life. Also during that night I got recognized by people in the audience to which made me feel like a celebrity even if it was just for the night. I got complimentary photos of both me and Terry Fator on stage, along with a signed copy of a DVD of him and his act (not with me in it, previous recording), a signed CD of various songs he sings, and a signed booklet of his history and his various acts throughout the years. All this was done by either walking, taking the local transit monorail between the various hotels down town, or the complimentary bus that both the Grand View hotel provides or the MGM provided. We took a cab to get to the Terry Fator show for we were running behind on our schedule and wanted to ensure we got to the Mirage hotel on time.
Walked around walked into various shops like the M&M factory to which some M&M's were purchased. Also went to Madame Tussauds house of wax and have several pictures of various movie stars.
Also did the CSI Experience Exhibit at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and solved the one of the 2 cases set up. At the end a certificate was offered but thought that having it emailed and print it myself. The only problem as to this date still have not received that certificate to print out to keep for memories.
Was able to go to the pool at the MGM Grand for it was just opening up due to it being closed for the winter and stayed for a little bit. There was hardly anyone there and so only stayed for about an hour and then went back to the room to go venture out again. After the pool is where the group was met that was going to the Grand View to which food was provided and so was the transportation. Before going to the presentation an offer of various free gifts like free casino chips and a card good to go on a slot machine with money on it as well. Used all what was given while waiting for the Criss Angel show at the Luxor Hotel.
The whole trip was fun and worth every penny spent on seeing the sites, the food, and entertainment that is available only in Las Vegas Nevada.
