The course is mostly flat, but there are a couple of hills on holes #7, 8 and 9 that can cause uneven lies. The greens are small, a variety of shapes, undulating, and slightly elevated. There are five ponds that come into play on four holes. There are palm trees and homes lining all the fairways.

Tomoka Oaks Golf & Country Club features a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course surrounded by magnificent oak trees. Designed and built in the early 1960's, Tomoka Oaks offers a traditional course with small, well bunkered greens. Though challenging from the 6,745 yard par 72 professional tees, Tomoka Oaks is also enjoyable from the front tees that cover 5,022 yards.
