Bull Run Country Club

This challenging course has many trees to avoid. The fairways have dogleg configurations and are well bunkered. The layout is undulating, including the greens. "Orlando Vacation Club" magazine has rated recently the greens as, "the best greens in Central Florida." The signature hole is #8, a 165-yard, par 3, which offers a beautiful, scenic view. Hole #8 has an original bull pen to the side of the fairway; hence the name of the club.

Cypress Course at Stonegate Golf Club

Semi-private Stonegate Golf Club with two championship 18-hole golf courses, The Oaks, designed by Ron Garl, and The Cypress, an original Joe Lee layout redesigned in 2006 by George Clifton. The golf club includes the Grille at Stonegate, a casual restaurant and watering hole; a well-stocked pro shop; and men's and women's locker facilities. Outside is a deck overlooking the course, an aquatic driving range, practice chipping and putting greens.

Grenelefe Golf & Tennis Resort

Grenelefe features two spectacular courses, along with practice facilities. Golf packages, group rates, and golf instruction are available. The South Course is the ideal Florida golf course, it also was a former host site of the final stage of the PGA qualifying school. Ron Garl and Andy Bean designed the South course to be challenging, but playable for golfers of all skill levels. The East course was intended by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay to be a shot makers dream. The East Course is made to be played with precision and not power.

The golf course includes abundant water, which comes into play on 13 of the 18 holes. Fairways meander through a forest of Cypress trees, and there are a number of doglegs. Poinciana Golf & Racquet Resort's signature hole is No. 7, a 374-yard par 4, requiring a tee shot over water, then an approach shot to a sloped green.

Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club

This course has plenty of trees lining the fairways. Some holes are tight and some are open. Nine holes are fairly flat and the other nine is rolling. The greens are small and rolling with some tiered. There are fourteen ponds that come into play on seven holes.
